ORIGINAL REXAIR ARMATURE,120V,TALL New armatures are available only for tall (5/8 inch) brushes but you can use old style 1/2 brushes on it too. However you should never install tall brushes on old style armature that was made for 1/2 brushes as the tall brush edge would be above armature commutator plates. When installing a new armature we recommend installing new carbon brush pair too.
